Metal pegs have become the cribbage player’s favorite since they last longer than plastic pegs, and wooden pegs can break in the cribbage board holes making them difficult to remove. These metal pegs will take on a nice patina with use and age. Place the short-end of the peg into the peg hole so that the metal ball on the peg rests atop the peg hole. The longer end is for grasping between the fingers. The fit will be loose. If you prefer a snug peg fit, we recommend searching for pegs with a tapered design.
